The Play

Andy Warhol, artist and icon of the 1960's, afforded the company an opportunity to explore a new artistic dimension, and to create an entirely new piece of theatre, which also challenged and experimented with the idea of the "American Dream". Based around the diaries of Andy Warhol, the process resulted in a highly visual and sometimes experimental piece of theatre that combined visual theatre, dance, music and new writing. Staged on a memorable set that included Warhol-style art pieces and a profusion of silver foil, the piece took its title from Warhol's famous prediction that "in the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes".
